Centre of Subterranean Heritage

Speleon interprets the underground heritage of the Upper Baraćeva Cave through four thematic sections – geology, paleontology, speleology, and archaeology.

Meet the inhabitants of Speleon – fossil remains of animals from the Ice Age, found in the Upper Baraćeva Cave. Their hyper-realistic replicas will take you tens of thousands of years back in time, to an era when lions, hyenas, woolly rhinoceroses, and other large beasts roamed the area.

The center is open every day of the week from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
