Ranch Dolina Jelena

A magical place that makes the Plitvice Valleys widely known is the Deer Valley Ranch – a unique outdoor zoo. It spans 15 hectares and is home to over 100 wild animals, most of which people rarely have the chance to see in person, let alone get close to.

At Deer Valley, visitors can experience unforgettable moments: shy roe deer, does, and stubborn moose eat from the hand, allow petting and photography, and pay special attention to children with developmental difficulties. The Bićanić family, who lovingly care for these graceful forest creatures, believes that animals instinctively sense people, just as people sense them.

A tour of the Ranch lasts about an hour and a half, and time literally flies while soaking in the magic of nature. After the tour, visitors can relax with homemade delicacies, natural juices, and spirits produced by the Bićanić family and neighboring family farms.

Due to high demand, visits to the Ranch need to be booked several days in advance via email or phone. Please note that the Ranch is closed on Mondays.
