Welcome to Jaškovo, the village of strudel! Welcome to Strudelfest!

In 2015, Jaškovo put itself on the world map by setting a Guinness World Record for the longest strudel in the world. Strudel has since become a recognizable brand of this region, and Strudelfest has grown into the most significant gastronomic event in the Karlovac County. The Strudelfest event emerged as a natural continuation of the now-legendary event “From Jaškovo to the World… Strudel for Guinness.” On September 6, 2015, in our small village of Jaškovo, near the historic town of Ozalj in Karlovac County, the longest strudel in the world was made, setting a new Guinness World Record. The strudel measured an impressive 1,479.38 meters.
