Everything is ready for the Quattro River Rally!

Only a few days remain until one of the most exciting sporting events in Karlovac County – the Quattro River Rally.

An especially thrilling race, regardless of weather conditions, is also expected by last year’s winner Rok Turk, who returns to defend his title. The experienced Slovenian driver emphasized that he is facing extremely tough competition, but also that this year’s route, with modified stages, is even more interesting and dynamic than last year. As he points out, the special stages promise a true spectacle – both for drivers and spectators.

The rally, which counts toward the International Zonal Championship of Croatia and the national championship, will gather more than 60 crews from as many as 11 countries, further confirming its international significance. The event is organized by the Auto and Karting Association of Karlovac County with the support of local auto clubs.

“The rally itinerary has been changed, and this year we have exceptionally strong drivers. We can expect a great battle for the overall victory as well as in individual categories, so it certainly won’t be easy for Rok Turk,” said Željko Magličić, President of the Organizing Committee.

In addition to the sporting excitement, this event also has strong tourism value, having attracted tens of thousands of visitors over the years.

The Mayor of Karlovac, Damir Mandić, highlighted the importance of the event for destination promotion:
“Thanks to everyone involved in organizing this major event, especially Željko Magličić for his persistence. This rally increases the visibility of the City of Karlovac and Karlovac County and is also an opportunity to emphasize the importance of road safety – adrenaline should be taken off the streets and directed into events like this.”

Deputy County Prefect Vesna Hajsan-Dolinar pointed out that the rally goes beyond sport:
“The Quattro River Rally is not just a sporting event, but also a tourism and economic one. In the past four editions, 200 crews have participated, and around 20,000 spectators have followed the race.”

The Mayor of Ozalj, Lidija Bošnjak, also expressed her satisfaction with being part of the event:
“We are proud to once again be part of this sporting story. The routes in the Ozalj area have been changed, making the rally even more interesting, especially the stage from Ozalj to Ribnik.”

The ceremonial start and finish will take place at the Nikola Tesla Experience Center, while the service park will be located at the Korana Sports and Recreation Center.
