Quattro River Rally Returns to Karlovac County

Karlovac County will once again host the international zonal championship and the Croatian Rally Championship – Quattro River Rally, taking place from April 4 to 6. This thrilling rally spectacle will attract both drivers and speed enthusiasts, with races held on roads throughout the county.

The rally is organized by Auto Club 4 Rijeke, with the support of Auto Club Ozalj, Klek, and Delta Timing, as well as Karlovac County, the cities of Ozalj, Karlovac, and Duga Resa, the municipalities of Generalski Stol, Netretić, and Barilović, along with the Regional Tourist Board of Karlovac County and the Four Rivers Tourist Board.

"This year's Quattro River Rally will be the biggest motorsport event in Karlovac County. While there is no World Championship round in Croatia this year, we have confirmation from the organizers that the WRC will return in 2026. The rally will use stages previously featured in the WRC, and we expect good weather and a great turnout. The event is part of the Alpe Adria series, so we anticipate a strong lineup of teams from this region of Europe, along with a large number of spectators," said Željko Fanjak, Director of the Regional Tourist Board of Karlovac County.

The rally kicks off on Friday, April 4, with the opening of the service park in Karlovac at the ŠRC Korana sports complex. On Saturday, April 5, an official practice session (shakedown) will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the section from the bridge in Novigrad na Dobri to Stara Sela in Duga Resa. The competition starts at 2:00 PM at ŠRC Korana, with drivers racing on sections from Vinski Vrh towards Duga Resa and from Pećurkovo Brdo to Donje Bukovlje, with a passage through the amphitheater in Duga Resa.

On Sunday, April 6, the crucial special stages will be held on the Krašić – Vrškovac and Grdun – Mali Modruš Potok sections, with the final stop in Ozalj.

"Quattro River Rally is moving forward. The idea was conceived in 2019, and the arrival of the WRC in Croatia gave it a boost. Quattro River Rally is essential for Croatian motorsport. The rally is part of the Alpe Adria Rally Cup, and we have already received entries from six countries. We expect 40 to 50 teams, possibly even more. At the moment, this is the only major motorsport event in Karlovac County," emphasized Željko Magličić, President of the Quattro River Rally Organizing Committee.

The Quattro River Rally is part of the Alpe Adria Rally Cup, and with entries from six European countries already confirmed, its international reputation continues to grow.
