The festival will also welcome Benja Gasy from Madagascar, bringing the vibrant rhythms and traditions of the island nation in the Indian Ocean.

Festival favourites from previous years are returning, including the official opening and closing ceremonies at Šanac, preceded by a colourful parade through the streets of Karlovac; daily performances in front of Zorin Dom Theatre; guest performances in Ozalj, Duga Resa and Ogulin; the children's programme Travelling the World by Knjiguljica; as well as cooking demonstrations and a gastronomic showcase featuring traditional dishes from participating countries at Flavours of the World, held beside the Music Pavilion.

But that's not all—this year's festival also brings several exciting new additions.

Karlovac Dances to Caribbean Rhythms

A special festival highlight awaits on 10 July at 8:00 p.m. at the Music Pavilion with Puerto Rico Fiesta—an evening filled with the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean.

Accompanied by authentic Puerto Rican music and irresistible Latin rhythms, visitors will have the opportunity to dance salsa, bachata, merengue and other popular Latin dances.

Whether you're an experienced dancer or taking your very first steps, everyone is welcome to join the dance floor and enjoy an evening of music, laughter and positive energy.

This innovative music project by Hrvoje Crnić Boxer and Boris Harfman blends centuries-old folk songs and traditional heritage with contemporary electronic rhythms. It will be presented on 9 July at the Music Pavilion.
