Vrlovka Cave Reveals Its Secrets Once Again - But Only for a Short Time

There are places you cannot visit whenever you wish. One of them is Vrlovka Cave in Kamanje - a hidden underground world that opens its doors for only two months each year.

This year once again, the public institution Natura Viva has given curious visitors, explorers, and nature lovers the opportunity to step inside one of the oldest caves in Croatia - but only during the period from April 15 to June 15. For the rest of the year, Vrlovka belongs to its most faithful residents - the bats - ensuring them complete peace while they hibernate, raise their young, and continue their natural life cycle.

During this short visiting season, Vrlovka offers a unique experience: 330 meters of arranged underground pathways through a fascinating world of cave formations - from elegant draperies and cascades to impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Every step reveals a new story hidden in the darkness, making this site an unmissable destination for anyone seeking something truly different.

The cave can be visited every day, from Monday to Sunday, between 4 PM and 7 PM, with professional guided tours included in the ticket price. Entry is open to all visitors, while group visits require prior reservation.
