Their members, truly dedicated to caring for horses, will also share with you the closeness and respect for these noble creatures from whom we can learn so much… and about ourselves.

The "Karlovac" Equestrian Club, founded in 1967, offers its members and visitors of all ages the opportunity to interact with around 50 horses in a green oasis by the Korana River. Riding schools, starting from a young age, follow the principle, "All animals, like me, have the right to live and be happy!" Interacting with horses, through work and play, also promotes physical health.

Since 2001, KK "Karlovac" has also been offering recreational horseback riding for therapeutic purposes. The club serves in the rehabilitation of individuals with reduced physical and/or mental abilities, helping them become more independent and better integrated into daily life. The program is run by experts from the club, including physiotherapists, sociologists, and educators.

The "Fany" Equestrian Club in Vukmanićko Cerovac promotes horseback riding and a return to nature, encouraging healthy living. In a relaxed atmosphere with playful animals, responsibility and a sense of caring for other beings are developed, as well as building confidence and patience… You can also take a carriage ride, walk through the forest and along the river, and taste delicious dishes from the hosts.

The horses at the Equus Ignis Ranch near Rakovica drink from natural springs, roam freely in picturesque nature, and enjoy the love of both the hosts and the participants of the riding school. For the more experienced, multi-day trips or trekking tours and off-road riding with a guide along the edge of the Plitvice Lakes National Park are available.

The "Barilo" Equestrian Club near Barilović offers boarding for horses, a riding school, off-road and therapeutic horseback riding, as well as one-day excursions in the beautiful landscape around Skradska Gora, the Korana River, and Mrežnica. Riders are guided to the Mlakovac hot spring, the deep well of Čatrnja, and the stone-carved Roman "chests" in Srdići… On the way back, a swim in the Korana River and fun with good company are a must.
